Philip Krohnengold is a composer and multi-instrumentalist.

He’s regularly performed live with Sara Bareilles, country music’s Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland), and played with members of Wilco, the Jayhawks, and Soul Asylum in Golden Smog, Jackson Browne, The Thrilling Adventure Hour podcast with Paul F. Tomkins, Gomez, Ben Harper, The Chemical Brothers, Tal Wilkenfeld, Joshua Radin, Meiko, Gary Jules, and others.  

As a side-man and session musician he’s worked with several producers of note including T Bone Burnett, Ethan Johns, Tony Berg, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and Tim Myers, and his recording work as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist has been heard on television shows including Nashville, Grey’s Anatomy, Arrested Development, One Tree Hill, Heart of Dixie, Private Practice, Community, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Cougar Town, The Big C, The Ghost Whisperer.  He’s also performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Ellen Show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and others.  

Philip is also the frontman of the band Billie (formerly All Spots to Black) who are currently recording a record for a release in Fall 2016.
